There will be no change to our booking policy at Glencorse Trout fishery.       
This should Benefit Club Secretaires , who have to deal with there members Not replying to  there emails or messages when saying they are going to a outing on a day/date then pulling out or making an excuse due to Forgetting, Hangovers, Holidays, Birthdays etc etc.                                                   GENUINE  cases are understandable and cant be helped, and they would NOT be expected to pay for a boat if cancelled. 
BUT when CLUB MEMBERS ETC are cancelling one or more boats, and dont have a genuine reason, and just give an excuse, they should be responsible for the payment of the boat/boats  Cancelled . 

This is fair on the CLUB and FISHERY.   
OUR POLICY OF 2 BOATS OR MORE REQUIRED TO MAKE OPENING VIABLE STANDS, WE WILL NOT OPEN THE FISHERY IF ONLY 1 BOAT IS BOOKED, AS ITS SIMPLY NOT VIABLE,  SO  PLEASE VIEW THE BOAT BOOKING PAGE TO CHECK YOUR BOOKING.                                   

This policy stays introduced  and it will stand as part of company policy its Simply not sustainable by the fishery.
It would maybe be advisable to book a minimal number of boats, as we have recently purchased and increased the number of boats to our fleet, so we are in a position to accommodate any late increases if needed.   
This policy will also benefit anglers looking to book a day boat, that have been unable to secure a boat before due to overbookings.   

We will start taking "PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS" for the 2026 Season from "MID-END of October 2025"  approx six months before the start of the new fishing season.                          

THEN  CONFORMATION  of Club bookings etc  REF/ Dates Boats Required etc, Must be made by  March 2026.
This will allow CLUBS etc, plenty time to have there AGMs and decide what dates  they are looking for, and the number of boats required. Bookings can still be made After  March 2026  but they may loose out on the dates they prefer.       
Clubs MUST confirm there booking" 14 DAYS prior to any outing.                 
In the event they Cancel Boats  and a GENUINE reason is not provided,  and the Fishery is unable to re-allocate the boats they cancel,  Clubs etc will be expected to pay for the boats they cancel.

This also applies to single day anglers if they have booked a boat and cancel with-in  1 WEEK of there outing and we cant re-allocate the boat they will be expected to pay for the boat they cancelled.

Sorry, but we have had no option but to stick with this policy. 
PLEASE NOTE we don't ask for deposits, like many have suggested we do.
